Dry and wet rot are the two most frequently found types of rot in properties, and are caused by fungal decay in buildings. The main causes of rotting wood is poor ventilation and being in direct contact with damp masonary. Rotting timbers can be skirting boards, floorboards, stairs, window frames ,roof timbers and all structural timbers.
